iPhone SDK Possibly Delayed?

It looks like Apple may not make their February deadline with the official iPhone software development kit. For those unaware, this kit contains the building blocks needed by third party developers to write software for the iPhone. In other words, it is finally a legit reason to not hack your iPhone.

Considering Apple has not yet sent out invitations for an event and the month is ending in less than one week, it's pretty safe to say we are going to have to wait a little longer than expected. Recent reports are predicting the delay can be as short as one week and as long as three weeks. I will definitely keep you updated as progression is made.

As of note, the iPhone SDK also applies to future software for the iPod touch.

28th February is when Apple usually releases new products.

This really sucks, becuase even if the SDK was released tomorrow, it would take at the very least a couple of weeks for developers to get anything out...

The SDK has already been released kinda i mean there are hints of iphone/ipod touch compatible games ready to hit the market, so maybe app developers who create apps for jailbroken devices have already been contacted
