The Beatles Finally Coming to iTunes!

It's finally official! Paul McCartney has signed a $400 million deal to publish the Beatles catalog to the iTunes Store. When the music will actually show up in the store is yet to be determined. It could happen as early as tomorrow, considering Apple tends to rolls out new products and announcements on Tuesdays. Personally I don't see this happening over night.

The Beatles' music has been rumored to be making its way to the iTunes Store for a while now. What are your thoughts now that it is finally happening? Also are you a Beatles fan?

Update: Please note that this story can now be viewed as inaccurate. Apparently both parties are denying the iTunes deal for whatever reason. I will be sure to keep you updated as this story progresses. I apologize for any confusion.

Funny cause Apple flat out denied this today.

Yeah, this was a complete rumor, never confirmed by anyone. Now, both the labels and Apple have denied this.

This is as big of a rumor of the PowerBook G5...and that one never came to be. I like your commentary, but please don't get me all excited about something that's not true :)

I'm a huge beatles fan so this is great. I think for like $100 bucks or what ever they should give you the option to download their entire collection.
