MacBook Air Selling Out

Running in short supply at Apple Stores and major retailers, the MacBook Air appears to be a product difficult to find. Apple is quoting a minimum of 5-7 days to ship the MBA to customers, while Amazon will not be shipping until March 16. Why the short supply is happening is currently unknown.

To my readers, do you own a MacBook Air? If so, was there a shipping delay for your order?

I'm assuming that Apple did not make enough of these systems on purpose try create news about their over priced POS MacBook Air. I couldn't imagine why on earth someone would get this with all of its drawbacks. I do not hate Apple i hate Apple's decision on this product. So please don't hate.

I just hope they realized what a mistake they made when they made that stupid computer, and are going to be rolling out a different machine soon instead.

I don't get what all the MacBook Air hate is about. It doesn't have drawbacks - It's a ultra portable machine. And from a professional design point, it's a very clever piece of industrial design.

Think of it this way, you wouldn't use a sports car to climb a mountain trail, and likewise you wouldn't use a 4x4 or SUV to win a track race. It is a machine developed for a very specific target audience. For most users a MacBook or MacBook Pro would be better suited. But for journalists, reporters and writers it will be near perfect.

That's just my opinion anyway. What do you think David?
